about

Track written in: Custom environment
Chip found in: Sega Master System, Game Gear, Neo Geo Pocket, Colecovision, IBM PCjr, Tandy 1000, TI99/4a, BBC Micro
Other names for chip: TMS9919, SN94624, SN76494, SN76496, NCR 7496, NCR 8496

Channels: 4 (3 square with no duty control, 1 whitenoise)
4-bit volume, 10-bit pitch
Quirks: only 3 whitenoise tones unless you link whitenoise to 3rd square.

Probably the most confusing jumble of numbers known to man, this chip had TI balling in the early 80's. It was a primary competitor to the AY-3-8910 and had a similar feature set. It also has NEARLY NO BASS (notes start at A-2) so you will hear basically none in this track.
