I recently finished watching Stranger Things.
I released my Sega album "Genesis of Consequence" this year.
I've been listening to a lot of retrowave/synthwave.
I decided it was time to blend all of this together somehow.
Upon noticing how my track "Another Dark Place" with everything dropped a key and the chord progression reversed was extremely close to the Stranger Things theme, I produced Sega Things in the moments leading up to Cincinatti's BRKfest and then tested it there and at MAGFest Labs. After receiving a lot of positive feedback on it, I decided to clean it up, and well, here we are.
For those listening with headphones, this was not run through a compressor. Expect things to get louder. =]
