about

With the rivalry that existed between the Commodore 64 and the Atari 8-bit in the 80's, there was no way I could do two C64 tracks without also doing two A8 tracks.

The Atari bass inspired me to choose the Atari again for this track, and I decided to evolve this track by matching the high pitched synthy sound with a cool pulsewidth modulation trick, as well as some more advanced tricks compared to Terrible (err.. Atarible) Lie.

The common challenge of fitting all of the music into only a few channels reared its ugly head towards the end of the track, but overall, I think I found a good, elegant solution to the problem; I just crammed instruments and notes anywhere they would go, of course! See if you can find where I have channel filled to the brim with note triggers!
